1. Who is Coral Knowledge Services?

Coral Knowledge Services is a person-to-person, translation service, that allows you to have documents translated by our professional translators, specializing in your subject matter. We offer services to goverment institutions, large or small corporations and individuals. Coral Knowledge Services does not provide machine translation service!

2. What is a “certified translation”?

Birth certificates, marriage certificates, wills, diplomas, legal documents all need to be certified.  Certified translations are governed by local laws in each country. In a non-certified translation the translator is sometimes entitled to give a personal style and tone to the text, to make it more appropriate for the target audience. Certified translations often must be an exact translation of the source and must always include a clause from the certifier together with a round seal affixed which only Certified Court translators may use, and must be certified by the translators signature, in order to be accepted by the courts and the authorities.

3. What is an Apostil/Apostille? Do I need it?

Apostille is a French word which means a certification. It is commonly used in English to refer to the legalization of a document for international use under the terms of the 1961 Centuries. No, this is not necessary. Simply submit your document with a comment requesting the languages that your document needs to be translated into.
